nStride (Autologous Protein Solution Therapy) Injections
An autologous protein solution (APS) injection is similar to regular PRP in that it gets processed through centrifugation of whole blood, however nStride PRP is different as it goes through an additional concentrating system which further separates the platelets from the white blood cells. This additional centrifugation is done in a unique tube which further concentrates the anti-inflammatory proteins before injecting the solution back into the affected area. Due to the more concentrated proteins that are collected from the dual spinning process, there is a longer lasting and more significant effect on pain and swelling.
To date, this therapy has only been proven in osteoarthritis patients. Although there is currently no evidence supporting its use in other conditions, there have been successful improvements in other non-studied indications.
