Dr. Michael Mallender MHK, MD, CCFP
Dr. Michael Mallender completed an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics followed by a Master of Human Kinetics with an exercise physiology specialization at the University of Windsor. He then went on to obtain his medical degree from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. Following this, he completed his residency in family medicine and emergency medicine at Western University. During this training Dr. Mallender has gained extensive experience in clinical sports medicine and is currently pursuing his specialist diploma from the Canadian Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine. Dr. Mallender has special clinical interests in ultrasound guided injections and exercise medicine. In his free time, he enjoys running, golfing, and playing with his cat Theo.
